Black Friday isn't really the top holiday shopping day of the season--the last Saturday before Christmas is. Cyber Monday, when turkey-bloated office workers purportedly return to work and spend the day looking for deals online. But is Cyber Monday really the biggest online shopping day of the year? Well, no. Focus put some numbers together to clear up misconceptions about Americans' online holiday shopping patterns.
The terms "Green Monday" and "Brown Monday" may be unfamiliar. Green Monday refers to the first Monday in December, typically the busiest online shopping day of the year. Brown Monday is the following week, and refers to when retailers start dramatic markdowns in order to move holiday merchandise out the doors.

When I was a kid, I would have hated getting a wallet for Christmas. Even if I was a little girl (which I wasn’t, much to my mother’s disappointment) and got this quality name-brand Burberry wallet, I probably would have chucked it aside, as I often did with the boring, adult gifts my grandparent’s often sent me (a book? A sweater? Socks? Come on, I know it’s been a long time since they’ve had kids, but seriously…they have no clue how to please an over-stimulated entitlement generation…) in favor of something with flashing lights, multi-colors, moving parts, and the ability to shoot play missiles across the room. But what my precious little childhood mind failed to grasp, and what I learned after years and years of consumer disappointment from marketing promises that fell short of giving me “infinity hours of entertainment,” is that the loud and crazy toys break after 15 seconds, the video games become obsolete after 20, and the toy missiles always get lost in 30 (I suspect the dog), but the silly little wool socks my grandma gave me has kept my feet nice and toasty for twenty years. I still own them, and sometimes use them to wrestle with my cat when he feels like biting and clawing something (the dog choked on the play missiles…I knew it).

Who couldn’t use a pair of pearl earrings? Guys, stop reading for a sec. Go check your fantasy football team while I talk to the ladies. Ladies, pearl earrings in your jewelry collection are a must. They are timelessly classy, look good with any outfit, and are something you can give to your daughters when they’re grown without worrying that they’ll be out of style or make her look like a slut (you can never be too careful. Guys with daughters, you know what I’m talking about, shopping for tween and teen daughters is frightening, but I thought I told you to stop reading?) The right pearl earrings are a great accent for anything. And today only at JomaDeals, we’re giving it away at the maximum possible discount of 100%. No kidding. Why? Well, for one we’re celebrating the newest JomaDeals multi-mile stone of offering three items per day instead of just one. For another, it’s something that’s pretty nice that we can afford to give away without completely breaking the bank (we’re not about to start giving away Ferragamo bags, you know. Steep discount on those bags, yes. Give-away? No.). So just add these earrings to your cart and bingo, you’re done. You do have to pay for shipping, but that’s something you’ll need to take up with the US Post Office. So enjoy these free earrings, and look forward to many more deals on jewelry, handbags, and accessories in the very near future (tomorrow).

Black Friday: the most recent unofficial American Holiday, also known as Discount Friday. Future generations will describe this day as one celebrating complete loss of all reason and scruples in the pursuit of getting a Song and Dance Elmo doll for 10% less than you could the day before. It’s the only holiday we have that closely resembles a zombie attack, a refugee swarm, or a Miley Cyrus Concert.
Once again, the Deal of the Day here on JomaDeals is an Invicta watch from the Pro Driver line. Why? Because we keep selling out of them, that’s why. I already discussed this on an earlier post, and I bring it up again now to let you all know what the status is. This is our best selling watch. It always sells out, so if you like it (and I say this in all seriousness, which I rarely do), buy it now, because it will sell out quickly. Try to imagine that mad rush of females to a
Picture that chaos, and that’s likely what’s happening on our site via personal computers all over the world. So join the frenzy! Act now! Our doors technically open at 12am EST, so that’s technically earlier than the 4am open time I was complaining about earlier, but this is different. With our daily Internet deals, you don’t have to leave the house or even get dressed to shop. Surf in your pj's, naked, in an animal suit (a la “The Shinning” in those few scenes with random people in animal costumes…*shudder…creepy, but if that’s how you roll, more power to you…), whatever you want. And with the Invicta 1-Year original manufacturer's warranty, you’ll be able to sleep soundly at night knowing that your purchase is covered (at least you’ll sleep well once you’re done shopping and drag yourself to bed for a few more hours of sleep before you hit the daily commute…ah, the things we do for a good deal).
