Today’s Daily Deal is the Casio Illuminator Sports watch, perfect for riding Jetskis, playing pickup football, or being just plain sporty (that includes those over-the-top outdoor sporty guys who wear Chaco sandals, hiking backpacks and L.L Bean vests everywhere they go). I once rode a JetSki wearing a Stainless Steel, formal Analog watch that I got at Wal-Mart. Bad idea. The thing fell apart after about 5 waves and when it eventually washed up on shore, it had been long dead due to poor water resistance. But unlike my unfortunate non-sporty Wal-Mart watch, the Casio is probably the best high-quality-low-priced watch you will ever find. There are forums of people who rave about Casio (I didn’t feel like working very hard today so I spent some time reading a bunch of them) and love how they don’t cost much but have all the right features and last forever. It’s perfect when you need an informal everyday watch that you don’t have to worry about scratching, dropping or having your youngest nephew throw down the toilet (although you should probably still clean it after you fish it out).
