Wanna experience what it’s like to be in the military without the risk of actually getting shot?
Recommendation for Mr. Seiko Le Grand
So it’s day two of our “12 Days of Christmas” countdown, and since yesterday, I’ve actually done a little research (and by research, of course, I mean I looked it up on wikipedia) and found out that the 12 days of Christmas is a real period of time that starts on Christmas and continues on after the holiday, so I’ve got it backwards. But what fun is that, starting a countdown AFTER Christmas?

“Silver and Gold, silver and gold, Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold.” Song lyrics of wisdom from the more than popular, so famous it’s IN famous, claymation Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. And although it’s still a bit too early for Holiday shopping, it’s not too early to start thinking about it, right? I mean, it’s officially October now, the weather is getting colder, the last of the Independence Day decorations are falling off the house (why take them down myself when mother nature does all the work for me?), and coming up is the first of the Holiday Power Trio of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/Festivus/[Insert your choice of holiday here] (I know some of you out there don’t celebrate some or any of these holidays and fly into a mad rage at the very mention of a pagan-root Holiday, but at the risk of not being PC, I’m going to go ahead with this, and if you’re still angry, email your complaints to customer service, who will forward them to me, we’ll all have a good laugh, and then get back to work).
The point is that it’s never too early to give a gift, no matter the time of year or your preferred personal denomination. Find a reason and surprise someone you care about. And since we’ve all learned from a singing snowman who looks a little like the love child of Colonel Sanders and the Quaker Oats guy that everyone loves silver and gold, it would seem that now is a perfect opportunity to pounce on our deal of the day. Today’s deal is a silver and gold toned watch that projects a very regal image. It’s a solid piece of wrist-candy that comes with reliable quartz movement and hard to find Hardex Crystal, the most durable and protective dial material out there. And like always, the watch comes with a 15 day return policy and two year warranty to make sure you’re a satisfied customer. So celebrate the pre-pre-holidays and give the gift of silver and gold. And if you’re offended by holiday references, then you should probably stop reading the descriptions for a few months, ‘cuz there’s going to be more of ‘em (I realize that Christmas related marketing this early is a little annoying, so you won’t see anything like this again for awhile. We’ll stick to Halloween for now. I apologize for jumping the gun).
