How does that sad story of my social missteps relate to today’s Daily Deal? Well, this watch is an Invicta Force Lefty Terra Military, a watch designed to be opposite. It’s a mirror image watch. Everything on the dial has been flipped (except the numbers still go the same way, it’s not THAT twisted). It’s like looking at yourself in a mirror all the time (a great feature for our narcissist customers). The dial knobs are built on the left side rather than the right, and the strap pins are furnished with little levers that allow you to remove them without tools. So this Daily Deal is not only great for people who want something different, but also for people who want to wear TWO watches at once (one on the left, one on the right; that would be the coolest thing ever, you’d be like
What’s better than having a belt? Not having to take that belt off in the airport forcing you to hold onto your trousers (that’s right, I said trousers, the British version of the word “pants”) without shoes on as you waddle through the metal detector and set it off because you forgot to take the change out of your pocket and now you’re getting “wanded” by a big, scary Indonesian dude and now they are taking you into a back room holy crap (sorry…flashbacks…). But you know what’s also better than having just one belt? Having TWO belts that you can wear anytime you want! Being chased by bad guys and need to escape down a telephone wire? Take off the belt and use it to slide your way down the wire to safety. The possibilities are endless (well, maybe not endless, but there are at least, like 6 or 7 possibilities here, which is still pretty good for a belt). Dear Petey,
Saturday is about one thing: a big breakfast.
I once read about this experiment that this Harvard Business teacher conducted in one of his beginning business classes (and by “read,” I mean someone who actually reads told me about it during lunch today). He held up a twenty-dollar bill and announced to the class that he would auction it off. The only rule: both the first and second place bidder would have to pay, but only the winner would get the money.
