ABOUT BRAND

The name Gevril benchmarks fine taste, a quality born of exquisite workmanship and distinguished style. Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Le Locle Valley, Jacques Gevril began his career in the mid-1700’s as a restorer of timepieces. He was a sought-after master of horology, and in 1743 he created his first Chronometer. Most notably, Gevril became the first exporter of Swiss Timepieces when he was called upon by His Majesty the King of Spain in 1758 to produce a personal timepiece. Gevril set out for Madrid on an historic journey to present his masterpiece, impressing the King who was so astounded by Gevril’s talent that he appointed him Royal Swiss Watchmaker to the Spanish Crown.

Gevril became known for his impeccable craftsmanship and for creating timepieces of unmistakable quality and beauty. He passed his legacy onto his family, who to this day continue to make the finest timepieces in the world. Gevril timepieces are displayed in museums across Europe--most notably the Museum Geneve and the Rolex Museum (where a Gevril pocket watch is displayed in the collection personally selected by the Wilsdorf family, the founder of Rolex).

Creating a Gevril timepiece is exhaustive, and Gevril expends years into the design and manufacture of its rare and enduring timepiece collections. It manufactures only limited edition collections, with 6,000 Gevril watches created each year and each line limited to 500 (stainless steel) or 100 (gold) pieces. The company also sources only the best materials and accoutrements.

1 Day Deal - Invicta 8926C - JomaDeals

Invicta Pro Diver Collection Automatic Mens Watch 8926CInvicta Pro Diver Collection Automatic Mens Watch 8926C

Invicta Pro Diver Collection Automatic Mens Watch 8926C.
The return of the high-quality, high demand Pro Driver collection. This deal of the day is $65 (79% off the $315 retail price). Sale ends at midnight tonight (EST). September 30, 2009.

We’re bringing back all the hits at JomaDeals lately. We recently brought you the sequel of the Watch Repair Tool Kit and have seen repeated returns of the most popular watch lines we have. Now, we’re brining back another hit for its due sequel: the Invicta Pro Driver. But unlike the Watch Repair sequel, which was basically the same item being sold again, this watch comes with a little twist. It still has the same futuristic Japanese Automatic movement like the last one, the same super-duper water resistance for the professional diver in all of us (it’s not just a clever name, you can take this watch diving up to 660 feet), and the same sleek, stainless steel design that would make the tin-man swoon (he loves tricked-out metal stuff, along with skin-suffocating body paint). So what’s the twist? This watch comes with a coin-edge bezel for an added aesthetic punch that not only looks cool but can double as a rope cutter should you ever find yourself apprehended and tied to a chair by machine gun-touting thugs and need to make a quick, MacGyver-like get away using only your watch, a stick of gum, and a tube of tennis balls (it can be done, trust me). This watch will help you do it, and keep accurate time as well so you can leap from a speeding motor boat seconds before it explodes. And should anything malfunction and your dramatic getaway is cut short (why would anyone cancel MacGyver?! Why!), then the Invicta 1-year warranty will fix it to make sure your watch gets an extra life (it’s like your own personal green mushroom, Mario mavens).

P.S. Who’s more dangerous: MacGyver or a Nuclear Warhead. The answer: MacGyver carrying a Nuclear Warhead that he made himself out of toothpaste and a bra.
