Happy Saturday! Saturday is always a good day to mosey on over to your local Waffle House for some sub-par but cheap breakfast delights. And unlike McDonalds, they serve breakfast all day, so whenever you want you can get a veggie-bacon cream cheese and frosting omelet smothered in maple syrup (or something not as healthy). But this Saturday I’m on vacation, and there’s no Waffle House in site (I saw a place called Jefe’s El Pele de Gallos that looked like it could be one, but it definitely wasn’t…wish I had used google translator for that one). So I stopped by Paco’s Taco’s down the road instead and ordered a beef and cheese burrito, smothered in maple syrup (he didn’t have any syrup, though; good thing I brought my own. They’ll never call me an over-packer again). That hit the spot. So while I’m waiting the obligatory 30 minutes before going swimming again (that’s a myth, BTW, I’m just feeling a little queasy so I’m taking a time out), I thought I’d earn my vacation pay and write a little about today’s daily deal.
