Well, that’s just about the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Facts and science don’t convince you to believe in Santa. You believe in Santa because if you don’t you won’t get any gifts and he’ll start your house on fire (at least that’s what my parents told me). For example, people say that with 378 million people celebrating Christmas, with an average of 3.5 children per home, Santa would have to visit 822.6 children per second, traveling 650 miles per second (which is 3000 times the speed of sound), while carrying over 321,300 tons of stuff. The load and speed combined with the 14.3 quintillion joules of wind resistance per second would cause Santa and his Reindeer to instantly burst into flames and create massive sonic booms that would destroy everything in their wake. Well, that all sounds very scientific and all, but I hate to break it to all these Point Dexters that their theory is full of holes. They don’t take into account that Santa doesn’t use the US or the Metric system. He uses his own North Pole System, and in his system, all those toys weigh a lot less. Sure, he’d have to travel 3000 times faster than the speed of sound. But what if he listened to something slower, like Carpenters Christmas? He’d probably only have to go 30 times faster than the speed of that sound, which I think is more than achievable. And what the heck is a quintillion? Sounds like a made up word to me. Looks like scientists have a little “make believe” problem of their own.Now that I’ve left the scientific community in shambles, I’ll share two more things with you that’ll be hard to believe.
